Another sucessful clinic with Singleton and Blue Creek. Huge thanks to the Graydons, Autrys, and Watts for bringing their boats out and helping with the event. We have some footage and pictures to put together so if you made it out, keep checking back and you might catch yourself in our video edit! Again, thanks to all involved and we'll see you in a few weeks at our second clinic event!

-ALWake (6/14/10)

So the guys over at Blue Creek Marina are ready to get the season cranked up with a clinic Monday June 14th around 10:00am. Give the marina a call for details. Team riders Alex Graydon, David Luker, Jeff Mathis and other will be out to lend a hand with instruction, product info, etc... We'll have some great boats to ride behind and as always, it will be a great time!

-ALWake (6/10/10)

So with Graydon on their team, the ALWake crew has spent a good bit of time with the guys from Steeze Clothing on random adventures throughout the south. The Steez tour bus has been a staple in our travels over the last few weeks, and we are stoked to call Steven, Will and Matt friends. The guys have a DOPE line-up for this year and should be loaded with tons of new threads in time for Surf Expo. Belts, hats, shirts, boardies, rolling board bags... you name it.  Plans are in the works for a more trips in the next few weeks including the East Coast Wake Park, WakeNation, etc... Check out their site and pick something up!

-ALWake (6/10/10)

Absolutely rad weekend in Guntersville at Spring2Summer. Congrats to Brian Hutton for taking home the Pro Division title and all the spectators that came out and supported the event. Dustin Middlebrooks and Wakefactory.net did an amazing job and big ups to all the sponsors and everyone else involved. Wakefactory has several rail events coming up in the next few months we'll be sure to keep you posted on. Shout outs to the following event sponsors for making it happen:

-ALWake (6/7/10)
Be there!!!!

-ALWake (6/1/10)

The crew is back in Bama, fresh off a weekend of rail shred at the Gravity Research Compound in Eastman, GA. Big thanks to Wes Bearden for being so rad and having us out. Massive amounts of footy and pictures so stay tuned to the site and Facebook to catch it all in the next week or two.

Big weekend ahead in the Alabama scene with the largest contest of the year going down Friday-Sunday... SPRING2SUMMER at Lake Guntersville. Friday night rail jam, Saturday contest for the groms, ladies and intermediates, and then the big boys throw down Sunday. Check out Wakefactory on Facebook for all the details or send us an email at AlabamaWake@Yahoo.com.

-ALWake (6/1/10)
Apparently the ALWake crew likes shredding rails... more McCormicks footy, enjoy:

-ALWake (5/13/10)

Back from an absolutely rad trip to McCormicks and OWC... got to shred McCormicks yesterday with Adkison....AJ, Todd, Kirby, Luker, Graydon, and Mathis hit both cables all day Sat and Sun and of course Norbi V was behind the camera...he's got two edits (one from each park) coming out. He did work yesterday and already finished the Tampa Progression session and the ODub one will be out soon. Thanks again dawg! Check it out:

Progression Session Tampa 2010 from Norbi Vasko on Vimeo.

-ALWake (5/4/10)

Uptagraftt is coming to take some shots this weekend and we'll be filming for ALWake.com QuickSet #16 (FINALLY)!  Its official, the Sequoia is packed out... 8 deep rolling to Tampa/Orlando for Wake Games weekend. We are close to having dates for all the Bluecreek Marina happenings this summer so stay tuned for those in the near future. Sorry for the lack of updates lately... we've all been shreddin so much nobody has time for anything else!!!

-ALWake (4/21/10)

Another warm weekend logged. Luker headed to GA to ride with some of the locals up on Lake Oconee and Lake Clark Hill while Mathis and Graydon shredded boat and rails on Lake Martin. Lots of the rest of the team made it out to their respective spots and started working off all that winter rust!

Word on the street is Graydon's doing Stokemeter Wednesday night at 9pm so if you're around a computer feel free to tune in!

Spots are filling up fast for the Wake Games trip... we've got 2 more spots in the 8 seater that's heading out Friday afternoon, staying through Monday afternoon. Hit us up if you wanna tag along!

Check out the shots of Alex and Jeffs rail session on Facebook and then go shred!!!

-ALWake (4/12/10)

Shred weather is upon us. From what I've heard, a large majority of the crew were able to score un-wetsuited sessions over the weekend.... Big thanks to the Graydons and Autrys for the pulls and if you haven't already, GET ON THE WATER! The lake is great right now and most of the Wallys are still in hibernation so its smooooooth.

If you have a chance, swing by Blue Creek Marina to take a peek at all the new products from LF and Obrien, as well as the new store layout! The SAN 230 was in the water yesterday so a little test drive might not be a bad idea either ;)

People are already talking about the Wake Games trip this year and we need to get an idea of who all is coming and when so we can arrange the caravan. Hit us up at AlabamaWake@Yahoo.com if you're planning on coming and what day you want to leave/return. We'll see if we can't work it out for everybody to make it down together in the most efficient way possible. In the meantime... enjoy the spring and ride ride ride, now is such a great time to progress!

-ALWake (4/04/10)

What an amazing weekend. The Alabama Mountain Games was a huge sucess with tons of spectators and great weather... Thanks so much to everyone who was involved with the event, especially Shred Ready for sponsoring and helping put it on. The setup was tough, but some great local shredders came out and sessioned the spot to entertain the kayak and mountain bike crowd.   Atlanta native Vinny Knapp took home the top spot with local ledgend Alex Graydon snagging second.  Big thanks to Kyle & Ian Walton from the La Sewer crew for coming out and gettin some footy as well as driving the waverunner the whole event! Thanks to Zinner (Dirtbag Productions) and Weston Uptgrafft there are tons of pictures on Facebook so check it out... Looking forward to next years event already!!

-ALWake (3/22/10)

The weather is heating up and so is the local scene! ALWake, Dirtbag Productions, and Wakefactory have teamed  up for a Stokemeter next Friday night before the Alabama Mountain Games. Luker, Zinner, Graydon, Middlebrooks, Refroe, and more will be streaming live to let you know about all the happenings locally and things we've got instore for the upcoming season. Should be informative and probably hilarious. Check it out Friday at 8:00pm central time on Wake.Stokemeter.com

Mr. Mathis and a skeleton crew of ALWake riders hit the road yesterday Tampa bound for some cableshred. Jealous. You guys be safe and have fun on your cruise next week....

Another workday Sunday at the AMG site to put the finishing touches on the rails for the Shred Ready contest. We may even get a chance to test them out if we finish on time. Hit us up if you'll be around and want to lend a hand.

-ALWake (3/11/10)

Quick update... The Alabama Mountain Games setup is really coming together and should be absolutely killer for some steeze as well as a little carnage. Check out all the pics of our progress on Facebook:

-ALWake (3/09/10)

The Shred Ready wake team Grinch got a workout yesterday when Jeff, Alex, Luker and Kimball found a big screen TV while skating around Auburn. We threw it in the truck and took it to a local pond and sessioned it for an hour or two. Check out the pics on Facebook with an edit to follow.

The Alabama Mountain Games is just around the corner and we have a few things to iron out... we have a build weekend this Sat/Sun and would love any volunteers that want to come and help us build on Sunday to hit us up. Volunteering gets you on the VIP list for the actual event which means free admission, food, and beer! We also still need to nail down a PWC to pull the contest so if you know of any marinas or individuals that might be interested in donating one to the cause let us know!

-ALWake (3/01/10)

We've been so busy lately the site hasn't been updated so we figured we needed to clue you in on all thats been happening! ALWake.com Quickset #15 hit Vimeo this week and is a little montage of what went down at Cancer Freeze in Florala, AL. Alex Graydon snagged the MacBook and edited the footy and it turned out great for his first shot at editing!

The Alabama Mountain Games are really coming together! We've got a Facebook Event setup and have a bunch of confirmed guests already, as well as some sick riders that have confirmed they will be shredding the setup and partaking in the music, drinks, and other festivities the event has to offer.

The team hit up the snow last week in Auburn and jibbed some picnic tables and kickers with the help of the new Shred Ready Team winch. Tom was out to support the cause and snapped some pictures and posted them to Shred Ready.com... check it out!

We've also got another trip to Orlando/Tampa planned for March 13-14 so if anyone is interested in riding down and hitting the cables, email us at AlabamaWake@yahoo.com. More updates on everything to come soon so stay tuned!!!!

-ALWake (2/17/10)

After fighting through some terrible filming weather down in Tampa two weekends in a row, we compiled enough footy to finish ALWake.com Quick Set #14... Check it out!

Lots going on in the area coming up with Cancer Freeze going down this weekend in Florala at Lake Jackson. Check out the site for details: CANCER FREEZE The ALWake team, Shred Ready, GLM, and Wakefactory will all be in attendance to shred a little boat and fire up the new Shred Ready Team Distortion Grinch. Should be a few rails and some other fun happenings so if you can make it out DO IT!

The Alabama Mountain Games are coming together and a collaborative effort between Wakefactaory and ALWake has put wakeboarding as a one of the main events for Saturday's festivities. We are setting up a pool gap with a few rails as well as the Wakefactory kicker. Should be a rad time with tons of sick sponsors and some prize money to be handed out for best hit on each obstacle. This is going down the 3rd weekend in March (20-21) Event details here: Alabama Mountain Games

-ALWake (2/1/10)

Another shred trip in the log... and another one scheduled. We got a little bit of footage from last weekends trip to McCormicks, and hopefully we'll be able to get some more soon to put together our first all HD Quick Set #14. Thanks again to Dickey and Shay for the hospitality and hoooking us up with places to crash. The weather is slowly starting to heat up and boat season is right around the corner. Keep checking the site for the next edit, and Facebook for pictures and regular updates about what we've got going on.

-ALWake (1/19/10)

Here we go again. There's gonna be a 2 or 3 car caravan heading out of Auburn/Montgomery Friday afternoon down to Tampa/Orlando for the celebration of the birth of our civil rights brother Dr. Martin Luther King  :D If you wanna roll with us for some cable shred and possibly a trip to winter Surf Expo at the convention center give us a shout. We promise to get some footy this time if the weather  works out and put together a Quick Set... current conditions are calling for temp in the mid 70s and 30-50% chance of rain Saturday and Sunday! Also, check out a few 2010 updates to our EVENTS page... much more to come!!!

-ALWake (1/12/10)

Our good buddy Ian Zinner from Dirtbag productions has a feature interview tonight on Stokemeter at 7pm Central Time.  Check it out to hear his take on the local scene and what it was like filming "Who". Much love to Ian and congrats for the interview. Respect.

-ALWake (1/06/10)

Another epic trip down south. Unfortunately because of the cold and a few long evenings, we didn't get a chance to film any, but believe us when we say, McCormicks was amazing ... and we had a nominally (hahahaha) good time ringing in the New Year. We also had a chance to shred the new rooftop rail at OWC and unfortunately we think they missed the boat on this one. None of us were that stoked on it due to the steepness and center spine. Regardless... fun was had. Looks like we're gearing up to head back down for MLK weekend so if you want in, shoot us an email.

-ALWake (1/05/10)

Want a cable park in Atlanta? I know this has been a dream of ours for a longtime and now you have a chance to do your part to help the cause. Sign the petition at the link below to help us make this a reality. Send the link to any friends in the wake industry or fellow riders to get the word out!

Santa was good to us this year and hooked it up with a few new tools for editing and filming. Here is a little taste of some editing with our new MacBook Pro and footage from the Flip UltraHD.

ALWake.com HD Video Test

Get ready... we're rolling out for our annual week after Christmas shred trip to Tampa/Orlando! Carpools leaving on Tues, Wed and Thursday. Hit us up for more info if you wanna tag along!!

Jeff Mathis shreds rails when its cold:

ALWake.com Quick Set #13

-ALWake (12/14/09)

Tampa edit complete. Big ups to Mr. Brewbaker for his first progressive session on the cable! Enjoy the footy:

ALWake.com Quick Set #12

-ALWake (12/10/09)

Things are coming along nicely at The ALWake Park with our second rail almost complete. The wakeskaters should be stoked on our new 9in ollie, 40ft flat bar we have dubbed "The Snake".  We had a little time to get some footage of the spot as well as our first hit on "Downy" (the rooftop rail. The edit from our trip to Tampa last week should be completed soon but for now enjoy the footy from the Park:

THE ALWAKE PARK TEASER

-ALWake (12/8/09)

The ALWake Park is in full effect with the completion of our first rail. 88ft of rooftop pleasure! We still have some cosmetic work to be done but she's a beauty. Brewbaker, Luker, Mathis and Graydon all put in some major work over the weekend between sessions in the skate park to make this thing happen, and hopefully we'll get a chance to shred it soon. MUCH more to come but for now check it out:

The Shred Ready Team 2010 Grinch is ordered from Distortion and due for delivery in a week and a half. Tom and the rest of the crew are so stoked and things are probably about to get interesting :)

Also, we'll be saddling up for Orlando/Tampa Thursday evening with lots of pics and footy to come after!

-ALWake (11/23/09)

Some really rad stuff is going down in the ALWake scene right now!!! Thanks to our camera man Dewey, ALWake Park is becoming a reality with work starting tomorrow on obstacles for our very own PWC accessible rail park. From a wall ride to a rooftop, and 3 or 4 more creative rail designs, we've got big things in store for the park that lies just outside of Birmingham.

The Thanksgiving trip to OWC and McCormicks is only 7 days away and apparently it's "bring your dad to wake" weekend! With 3 dads in-tow, there is sure to be fun... as well as a little better accommodations and food than our usual Super 8 and Krystal :) Don't know who will be in it, or  what the theme will be, but I'm sure ALWake.com Quick Set #12 will be epic once all is said and done!

Word on the street is our guys over at Shred Ready are in the process of winch shopping. This could mean big things for discovering more local shred spots and increased travel opportunities. We'll keep you posted!

-ALWake (11/19/09)

The fact that it's November hasn't stopped us, and we logged our first road trip of the month last weekend to South Alabama for a session at a dam that JJ and the Gantt Lake Mulisha crew hooked us up with. The spot was pretty sketchy with some monster concrete board munchers at the base of the falls. We were able to get a few hits in, and put together ALWake.com Quick Set #11

We would also like to announce the addition of our second wakeskater to the team... Michael Meads is now a part of the family and was able to make it down for the dam sesh. Look for more footage and pics of Michael in the future.

-ALWake (11/9/09)

Rail-O-Ween edit complete. Enjoy it on Facebook or on Vimeo.

-ALWake (11/2/09)

Rail-O-Ween 3.0 was the HEAT! Luker, Mathis and Graydon all made it through to the semi-final round with Alex and Jeff heading all the way to the finals. The locals were great and super hospitable. Alex and local rider Steven Snyder had an absolutely killer first round heat dual to break a tie to move on to the semis. Pro rider Jeff House and Derrick Grassman were in the house, but didn't have enough to bring down the 2009 Rail-O-Ween champ...... ALEX GRAYDON. BOOM!!! Alex and Jeff both destroyed the course with Mr. Graydon taking home the cool $1,000 in prize money.

We got tons of footage and will have a Rail-O-Ween Quick Set up as soon as possible. For now check out the pictures on the Book.

Congrats to Alex and big ups to the entire KnoxWake crew for having us out and putting up with all our antics!!

-ALWake (11/2/09)

Jeff, Alex and Luker are heading up to Knoxville, TN for the weekend to represent the ALWake crew in the 3rd annual Rail-O-Ween, winner takes all rail contest. Ian Zinner of Dirtbag productions will be on site to document, as well as tons of sick local and pro riders.

The Thanksgiving trip to OWC is looking like a MAJOR event with people from all of the local scenes coming down. Dirtbag, Wakefactory, Knox Wake, and ALWake have all got confirmed attendees for the trip.  Lots of people on different schedules for the week, some going down before T-Day and some after, but there should be a steady flow of our local talent shredding the park the whole break. Feel free to contact us for info, or just drive down and hit us up!

-ALWake (10/27/09)

Team rider Ben Watts continues to raise the bar for young shredders everywhere.  HS FS 3 for the first time since he was 8. I doubt he'll stop throwing it this time :)

ALWake.com "New Trick" #1

-ALWake (10/20/09)

ALWake.com Quick Set #10 is up and running.... Enjoy!

-ALWake (10/20/09)

Another sucessful trip to OTown for shreddage. The ALWake team was riding 7 deep this past weekend for the merryment that is Orlando Florida. Austin and Alex manned the camera for a while to document folks doing work in the park... Quick Set #10 is in the process and will be posted soon.

-ALWake (10/20/09)

Absolutely epic wakeshred weekend. Alex and Luker both got to shred new Liquid Force sticks courtesy of BCM (Blue Creek Marina), and Alex made sure everyone knew that LF came strong with the 2010 Trip by going out and stomping pretty much every trick imaginable... among other things a Switch Toe 7, W2W Toe 9, and yes... dangerously close to a nose grabbed 1080. The plan is to do some filming Wednesday and see if Alex can't put it down. Check out the footage of what almost was on YOUTUBE.

The ALWake.com team Orlando trip is shaping up to be a packed house with 7 people currently planning on going. Jeff's band "Leave Your Mark" is playing a gig in Montgomery Friday evening and we'll be pulling out shortly after. Stoked.

-ALWake (10/13/09)

Events page updated... We've added a few things that are going down during the cold months!! Any suggestions for fall/winter events are welcome as well just email us at AlabamaWake@yahoo.com.

-ALWake (10/01/09)

Although the weather is still amazing and Lake Martin is at almost full pool, off season moves are already heating up and it appears our area is about to undergo a major shake up in the Wake arena... and ALWake.com is proud to be a part of it!!!  Here's to progression of the sport and the improvement in our local scene. Stay tuned to ALWake for future developments.

-ALWake (9/25/09)

Finally got something put together from our Surf Expo weekend in Orlando. Enjoy:

BRAKE THE WAKE was an insanely  good time. Big thanks to all the people and companies that supported the event:

Wakefactory.net

Malibu Rum

Red Bull

Shred Ready

Smokey Ts

Covenant Cove

Pirate Cove

Dirtbag Productions

and everyone I'm forgetting

The contest was great, with Matt Sims, Will Smith, and Hunter Bentley taking home most of the prize money. Thanks to the city of G-Ville for putting up with all of us. Veronica and Austin manned the camera the whole weekend and got some great shots, check'em out:

Expo trip was epic... ALWake.com Quick Set #9 should be sick once I have time to edit the footy... for now, here are a few PICTURES. Now it's time to use this week to sleep it off and get rested because "Brake the Wake" is going down in 5 days! Dustin Middlebrooks from Wakefactory.net was down in OTown this weekend and said they have some sick things in store for the event.  Here is a little teaser of what can be expected:

Feel free to email us for event info, or check out Wakefactory for the details.

-ALWake (8/24/09)

We are leaving tomorrow afternoon at 12:30 for Orlando for those who want to join. Parks Doc, Surf Expo, 9ft swells at Cocoa, OWC.... how can you say no?

-ALWake (8/19/09)

ALWake.com  Quick Set #8 with Clint and Aj.

-ALWake (8/12/09)

Expo is a go.... we can't leave until late, but it looks like a carpool will be heading out of Auburn next Friday afternoon between 12 and 1. Anybody who wants to ride or follow email AlabamaWake@Yahoo.com.  The Parks Documentary is premiering that night so hopefully we'll be able to catch it in time. Saturday is Expo and probably some park shreddage. Sunday morning cable shred and heading back home sometime in the afternoon.

Big thanks to the local CTI representative that came down to fit Luker for his new CTI Custom Pro Sport.  Stoked.

Gotta give some love to ALWake rider Kyle Maese who snapped his femur on a rail up in Oregon this past week. Hope you heal up quick brodeo.

ALWake.com die-cuts are in! I'll post a pic soon, or go ahead and email me for more info.

-ALWake (8/10/09)

New trick Monday... Ben Watts stomped 2 Toe Back 1's during an AM shred sesh today.  Seriously? He's 10.  Hopefully I'll get this beaut on film later in the week. Congrats Ben!

-ALWake (8/3/09)

I had the pleasure of going out to the Westbrooks place on Sandy Creek yesterday to get some footy of Aj and Clint. Between the 15 little kids on the boat, Karaoke at Chuck's,  Aj's new switch toe 7, and Clint's 2 new mobes...  I had a blast.  Big thanks to Don and CeCe for the hospitality, and keep checking the site for the next ALWake.com Quick Set of our weekend.  Here are a few pics I snapped while not filming:

Westbrook Weekend

-ALWake (8/1/09)

Rumor has it that 2007 Jr. Men's Pro Tour Champ, Aj Racinelli could be extending his visit to Alabama indefinitely. Over some grub at the local eatery last night, Mr. Racinelli divulged his plans to start doing some coaching around the Lake Martin area and possibly make east central AL his home for a while. Aj is a sick coach and has a real knack for being able to spot the little things riders do wrong and correct them. If you are interested in coaching/lessons contact us at AlabamaWake@yahoo.com and we'll be sure to hook you up.

-ALWake (7/31/09)

Apparently Al Gore's super cool interweb is catching on... and it appears social networking sites are a big deal. In that regard, ALWake.com now has a Facebook page. Its a great way to meet up with local riders, find a pull, organize carpools, lake sessions etc... All of our pics in the future will be uploaded to our Facebook page since its easier and faster than PhotoBucket. So... lets be friends:

Major software problems delayed this, but ALWake.com Quick Set #6 is up and running.

We had some fun yesterday doing a photoshoot for the next issue of Lake Magazine. Kenneth Boone and Sawyer Davis were out to document a little riding with Alex, Jeff, Chad and Ben.  I had the camera out as well and will post up some pics ASAP. Always fun when the paparazzi make it out to promote the local guys. Thanks to Rick for driving the sesh and Ted for letting us use his boat as a chase, and his home as base camp.... oh yeah, and Happy Birthday to Ashley Watts, who was trying to celebrate during all of this.

A guy named Adam Gilbert is putting on a Contest down in Albany, GA August 8th to benefit a local cancer patient. Entry fees are $20 and he says there will be some $$ prizes. Check out some more info HERE.

Dustin and the Wakefactory crew have gotten the dates out for the Rail Contest weekend. Everyone who isn't at Worlds should attend for sure.  Guaranteed to be an awesome time.

Jeff, Austin and I hit up Orlando last weekend to get some cable footy and for the general merriment that OTown has to offer. We got a chance to meet up with Phil Shearer at Standard Boats and take a demo behind his new, classically inspired boat. I’ll get a full write up posted here soon, but for now, here is the video review of the boat: Standard Boat Review. Keep checking the site for ALWake.com Quick Set #6 from the OWC trip as soon as I have time to edit it!

I’ve been slacking… 2 more Quick Sets up and running. Aj and Ben shredding in ALWake.com Quick Set #4 and Quick Set #5, respectively.

Big ups to Ben Watts who has been killing it lately… adding a Toe 5 and a Heel 3 to his quiver. If he keeps adding a trick a week, he’ll be on that Boys podium before we know it.

A little West Coast steeze is always good for the South East scene… so it’s rad that AJ Racinelli has decided to visit again this year. We’ve put down a little bit of footage so far, and hopefully we’ll end up with enough to do an ALWake Quick Set featuring AJ, so you can appreciate how stylish the 2007 Jr. Men’s Pro Tour Champ really is.

Way too much Alex Graydon news these days… yesterday’s set included 3 wake to wake 9s, and his first Heel 9 off the dub. No footy, but I had to throw out some love. Good luck to Alex and all the other area riders hitting up PWT this weekend!

Alex Graydon wake to wake Toe 9. Boom. This clip with be in the next ALWake.com Quick Set for sure… but for now… Enjoy the raw footy:

ALWake.com Quick Set #2

Spring 2 Summer was insane and Ian Zinner’s “Who” was epic to say the least. Zane Schwenk, Phil, Matt Sims, Alex Graydon, and the other pro-division riders came out and threw down Saturday and Sunday. The rail jam was a little “too” much fun ;) thanks to the crew at Boondocks and Malibu… and Sunday was a great time as well. Thanks to Dustin and the Wakefactory.net crew for putting on the event and all the sponsors that helped make it happen. We’ll have some pictures and video up shortly I’m sure.

Because of my recent misfortune, I’ve decided to start doing some little edits with a Sony HandyCam I swiped from my house in ATL.  I finished the first one last week and hope to start a kind-of regular thing, putting one of these out every 2 or 3 weeks. Anyway, I’m calling it ALWake.com “Quick Sets”, and the first features Jeff Mathis and Hayes Peace check it out:

I wanted to give a brief shout to Mr. Graydon and Mr. Renfroe for qualifying to ride Saturday at PWT in Texas. An big ups to Phil for layin it down and taking second overall in Jr. Mens. It’s always awesome to see local area guys doing well in the contest scene!            4 DAYS UNTIL S2S!!!!

Spring 2 Summer is only 2 weeks away and the first draft of Ian Zinner’s “Who” has already had a preliminary screening for some VIPs!!! The contest is being held at Spring Creek on Lake Guntersville and you can check out all the details on Wakefactory’s website. The “Who”premier at Boondocks Friday night is a must attend and will be a dope time for sure. All the riders from the vid will be there and I’m sure plenty of cold beverages will be served. If you are interested in attending or helping out and need some additional info feel free to email us at Alabamawake@yahoo.com .

Some of the ALWake team headed up to Atlanta this past weekend for the College Wake Rail Jam. Ian was up taking pics and footy.  Parks, Errington, and several other pros were on hand for the event as well as some local heros like Rob Corum, Taylor Renfroe, and Jeff Mathis. The Alabama wake scene was well represented! Check out pics at Ian’s Facebook page (click on pic below).

Still no software yet… but I’ve found a way to add content to this page without it for now (but it will look funny). A few notes for those who have missed it…

The Gravity Trip fell through but no worries. Wake Games, Billabongs Out of the Pond Premier, and OWC was dope this past weekend. Spring 2 Summer is coming together and the Wakefactory guys have started posting info on their site (www.Wakefactory.net).  The ALWake team video is also shaping up with some chase boat footy taken yesterday. Ian is coming down next week to film for his new movie “WHO” (Trailer here).  Lots of cool stuff happening in the Alabama Wake scene these days.

On a more somber note, I just got back from the Dr. who informed me I tore my ACL on a tail glide off Big White at OWC on Saturday. I have an MRI to confirm next week and pre-op PT as well. I’ll keep you updated, but it appears, for now… my season is over L

Almost done. She needs paint, a chain, some engine work and a few other little things, but it's basically finished. Total cost in it right now is around $100. I'm planning on doing a full write up soon... check it out:

While cruising around on that there interweb searching about the new union of Alli and The King of Wake contest I found a familiar face. Check it out: KING OF WAKE

So while the ALWake team has been kicking it at Rathy's birthday and shredding O-Dub, I've been hard at work auditing and winch building. PhotoBucket is acting retarded so I can't get the pics up right now but check back later for the newest ones. Other than going through about 8 shatty drill bits from Lowes I think it's coming along nicely... check out the most recent shot:

-ALWake (3/18/09)

I'm basically finished with the winch spool. I have a little welding and Line-Xing to do after I finish the frame and give it a test run but you can get the idea. It ended up being a little wider than I planned with 9.5" inside the wheels and a full 15" between the outermost points. Check out all the pics on the projects page or click below:
